Take a Walk on the Wildside with a Marine Scientist this school holidays

Take a tour with a Marine Scientist along the best land based whale watching vantage point in Australia - the Point Lookout Gorge Walk. Learn about the migrating humpback whales as you watch them in action.


Tours will depart from Fishes Café at Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island twice daily Saturday June 27 and Sunday June 28 from 10am – 11.30am or 2 – 3.30pm.


Your guide is a Marine Scientist who’s tour covers the history of whaling in Australia, humpback ecology and behaviour, and the myriad of other amazing wildlife you can see at Straddie, both in and out of the water.


Tours are suitable for adults ($15) and school kids ($5) – under 12’s must be accompanied by an adult. Binoculars are included. There’s a maximum of ten people per group so you need to book 24hrs in advance to secure a spot. For bookings call Fishes at the Point on 07 3415 3444.
